As well as introducing new products made here at the Smokehouse, we're always adding new products from our favourite suppliers, local treats and imported specialities. Here is a brief round-up of some recent additions to the shop.
We have a range of Italian pastries from Diforti. There are authentic handmade shortbread pastries - 'Barchette' with white chocolate cream, Sicilian Cannoli filled with pistachio or hazelnut cream. All made by hand to be savoured slowly.
Also new to the shop are delicious Gin flavoured chocolate bars from Choc Affair. Rhubarb Gin, Raspberry Gin and Gin & Tonic flavoured milk chocolate bars and drops are available now in store.
Our Bakery is always busy: always a favourite - Smokehouse Pork Pies are always made from scratch, onsite. A varied range of cakes are available too, including our own classic Victoria Sponge. Visit the bakery in the shop and have a browse.
Peter's Yard are a favourite supplier of sourdough crispbreads - their large original crispbreads with a hole in the middle make the perfect base for our local Wincle Hot-smoked trout, some dill and cream cheese.
Over in the wine department, sunny days in spring call for Rosé. New Spanish wines from Bodegas Ramon Bilbao are now available in store.
For a non-alcoholic alternative, we now have Willy's Energy Drinks in the shop. This is the world's first natural energy drink to be grown, fermented, canned & designed in one place - at their farm in Herefordshire. Just 5 natural ingredients including green tea kombucha and your daily dose of apple cider vinegar.
Meat lovers should visit our butchers counter: we have ribs of beef perfect for sunday roasts. Also try the 28 day aged Côte de Boeuf - grass fed and locally sourced.
